Crazy times indeed!

I hope that you and your loved ones have got through the Covid-19 pandemic relatively unscathed and are safe and well.

In line with current government guidelines and The Institute of Osteopathy, I am able to see and treat patients.

As you can no doubt appreciate, things will have to be very different for a while.

I (and the Dentists downstairs) have had to make several adjustments to the way we work:

Appointment slots are 30 minutes long. They will still cost the same (£50) and will actually consist of 20-30 minutes of treatment. After each appointment, I thoroughly clean all touch surfaces with an antiviral/bacterial spray. All the couch/pillow surfaces are now wipeable. 

Appointments need to be "confirmed" by me: All bookings must be confirmed by me (not just the confirmation from my booking system). No exceptions! The reason for this is that I must triage all patients before allowing them to visit the practice. This is to determine their health and to confirm that they have not been in contact with the virus recently, or to see if they fall into the "at risk" category and shouldn't be visiting me. 

There will be no waiting: Under no circumstances will patients patients be allowed to wait in the waiting room/reception. Upon arrival at the clinic, please remain in your car or outside the building and telephone, or text to advise me of your arrival. I will then call you and tell you when I will meet you at the door (at which point I will offer you alcohol based  hand sanitiser) and take you straight to the treatment room.

Please wear a mask, or some kind of face covering: Despite already having had and recovered from Covid-19 back in March, I will be wearing PPE, in line with PHE guidelines. Face mask, apron and gloves. Please bring your own mask/face covering, as I will not be able to provide one for you.

Bring your own towel, if you require one: I can no longer provide a towel to cover you up with, for obvious reasons.

Whenever possible, I would prefer that payments were made at the time of booking by bank transfer: this negates the need to handle cash, or to use the card machine. Please note: we require 24 hours notice for cancellation to avoid a £50.00 cancellation fee.

Strange times and a lot for us all to get used to. Whilst I realise that this can all seem quite overwhelming
and all the PPE creates a horrible barrier between me and my patients, I really hope that you appreciate that all these precautions are there to safeguard you as well as us and any other patients.
